Our client felt that their current kitchen was slightly dated and in need of a refresh. Being in leafy Haslemere we thought the solid timber Allestree Beaded Shaker range, painted in Light Grey with polished chrome hardware would be the perfect fit for their country style kitchen.
For the base units we kept a similar layout as the previous kitchen as our client had felt this worked well, however we introduced pan drawers to the left of the range cooker and a bespoke wine rack to the adjacent end of the kitchen. Clever storage solutions were introduced with bespoke bi-fold corner cabinetry and blind corner unit containing a Kessebohmer Le Mans pull out system. For the wall units we added cabinetry to either side of the range extractor and a row along the main wall to maximise worktop/preparation space – something they were lacking previously.
Subtle lighting was added throughout the design, with subtle LED plinth lighting, under lit wall cabinets and glass pendant lighting above the sink and prep area.
A double Belfast sink creates the perfect viewpoint as you enter the kitchen. The light grey cabinetry contrasts well with the slick statement 30mm black granite worktop and the teal ceramic wall tiles give the kitchen a fantastic focal point.
The combination of all these elements creates a spacious, light, inviting kitchen for our clients to entertain in and enjoy for years to come.
