Every Ella Austin Kitchen is meticulously designed with our customers needs and desires at the forefront. It’s then made to order to suit your space. You won’t find a warehouse full of stock we need to shift.

Whether you’re looking to commission a completely bespoke hand-made solid timber kitchen, or you’re looking that dream kitchen on a strict budget, we’re able cover most price-points, and you’ll still receive the same unbeatable service and high quality product if your new kitchen is £5,000 or £100,000. We use industry leading CAD software to produce highly detailed technical plans, elevations and stunning HD renders. We’ll even generate a VR so you literally walk around your new kitchen and get the best possible feel for the space you’ll have. All completely free, with no obligation.

Our kitchens are bespoke and we are able to manufacture completely bespoke cabinetry to suit any space. Our units are cut down from individual materials so it makes no difference to us if we cut these at 600mm or 617.46mm.

We select the finest materials to create something that not only looks visually stunning, but is guaranteed to stand the test of time, and designed to suit your budget.

Every home (and family) is different, and our designers don’t just start off by taking measurements, we want to get to know you and understand every last detail about how you live and use the space, and all your individual requirements.
Commissioning an Ella Austin kitchen is very much a collaborative process. Our experienced designers will work closely with you to establish –

1) What you need – We will determine and incorporate the absolute essentials that you can’t live without.
2) What you would like – Together we’ll write a “wish list” for those little extra touches and luxuries and we will do our best to source within your budget and include these in your design.
3) How you intend to use the space – Whether you consider yourself a part-time pro chef, or like to regularly entertain friends and family, or just need clever bespoke storage solutions to make life that little bit easier.
4) Your style and taste – Whether that be a super modern high gloss true handleless statement kitchen with waterfall island worktops and packed with the latest tech, or a timeless traditional in-frame shaker masterpiece with ceramic butler sink, hand-painted on-site in your favourite Farrow & Ball colours.

Whilst we’re not strictly a family business, we run the business on the same principles, and we continually strive to provide not only the finest products on the market, but also deliver superior customer service from the very first initial conversation, right through to the final post-installation inspection to make sure your expectations have been exceeded.

The Process

Planning a new kitchen is a very exciting time in any home renovation or new build, but can sometimes be a daunting experience to know where to start and to make sure everything is taken care of. At Ella Austin we will be there to help simplify every step of the operation and smoothly guide you through the entire process from start to finish.

STEP 1

Design Consultation

This is our opportunity to get to know each other and begin discussing initial design ideas and styles. Although we can work from scale plans, where possible we would always prefer to visit you in your home to see how your new space will interact with the rest of the home and the architecture. Together we’ll create a list of the absolute essentials you need in your new kitchen, as well as an ideal wish-list for things like worktops, appliances, sinks/taps, plus some of the extra little touches to make your kitchen stand out from the crowd.

Following this initial consultation, we will get to work on your design proposal. This process usually takes around a week, and is completely free.

STEP 2

Design Presentation

Here you will be able to view full plans, elevations and 3D designs. Together we’ll go through the whole design and breakdown any amendments required, most of which can be adjusted in real time on screen so we can play around and compare things like colours, textures, materials, hardware, as well as design layout during the meeting.

At this stage it’s important to get the design aspect 100% perfect so we welcome revisions and amendments until it’s correct, at the end of the day you’re in control so you can make as many changes as you like. If amendments are required we will get back to work on the updated designs then arrange a follow up presentation as soon as we can.

Once you are 100% happy and comfortable with the design we will then get to work on pricing your new kitchen. If you can provide us with an idea of what you ideally wanted to spend as early as possible we can ensure we can to deliver your dream kitchen within your chosen budget.

STEP 3

Entering Production

Once you are happy with everything we start by taking a 25% deposit to confirm the order and to enter your project into our production schedule. Depending on the nature and size of the project, production usually takes between 4-10 weeks but we will keep you updated with the progress throughout the build. If you opt for an Ella Austin Signature kitchen you are more than welcome to pop into the workshop (in Surrey) and view your kitchen being made!

STEP 4

Delivery & Installation

We’ve worked incredibly hard to find a reliable installation partner that shares our philosophy for perfection. They’re not just kitchen installers, they are a team of highly skilled cabinet makers and carpenters that are able to offer any associated services to create your dream space. You’ll be assigned your own project manager so whether you need a bespoke false mantle cooker surround built, plastering, decorating, or plumbing and electrics, they can provide everything you need to ensure your new kitchen installation runs as smoothly as possible. Additional services will have been arranged and in place ready for the kitchen installation date.

Depending on the size of the project, we usually allow upto a week to fit base units on a medium-large kitchen. Our worktop templating, fabricating and installation service is currently around 5-7 days. Overall you can expect your kitchen to take 2-3 weeks from start to finish. Ella Austin Signature kitchens include a final hand-painted finish once everything is installed.

STEP 5

Final Inspection

After your new kitchen has been installed (including worktops and appliances) we will arrange a convenient time to pop back for our final inspection and sign-off to ensure you are 100% happy with your kitchen and the service we have provided. It is our aim for your expectations to be exceeded. All we ask is we’re allowed to take a couple of pictures!

Our services don’t end there. Our kitchens come with a 10 year warranty and we will continue to provide support in any way you need us via our after-sale care. We’d be happy to help with any warranty or non-warranty issues, whether that be assistance with any appliances, the best way to care for your worktops, or just general enquiries, we’d love to stay in touch one way or another.
